Full Description
NG72SE 31 7861 2036
NG 7861 2086 (NG 786 208): Situated on the south bank of the Kylerhea river at a height of 5m OD is a stone-walled enclosure, 12m N-S x 17m E-W internally with walls 1m thick. The entrance is in the centre of the east wall.
Information from M Wildgoose to RCAHMS, February 1989.
It is probable that this site was originally given the incorrect NGR. The current edition of the OS 10560 map (1968) depicts an enclosure S of the Kylerhea River at NG 7861 2036 which is probably the enclosure noted by Miket nd Wildgoose.
Information from RCAMHS (SAH) 29 November 1996
