Full Description

Larger hut circle, set only 3m to the SW of, and at a slightly lower level than the hut circle of Feature 30 (above). It has an internal diameter of 6m and its grass and moss-covered stone walls are not very prominent and are also incomplete, with gaps in the S and E arcs. The largest stone is in the N arc and it stands 0.7m high on the recessed back wall, but the walls are generally only 0.3m high and are spread to 1.5m wide. There is a possible entrance downslope to 180 degrees.

This hut circle is part of a Bronze Age/Iron Age settlement at Sciberscross. The features of an associated field system have also been recorded across this area. <1>
