Full Description

4m diameter, 1m high clearance cairn is eroded on its E side to reveal boulders of all sizes up to the size of a football. The cairn is topped by heather and moss and it is surrounded by deep heather all round on flattish ground to the NW of the hut circles.

Interpreted as related to the clearance of land in the Bronze/Iron Age, possibly associated with the prehistoric hut circle settlement across this area. <1>
