Full Description

Possible remains of a small building set on a grassy/bracken-covered patch on a fairly steep, 30 degree slope (Plate 23). This is a strange location for a building, which has a substantial E gable stone wall. The W gable and the E side of the S wall are a bit enigmatic, but there is an entrance midway along the S frontage. The N wall is 1m thick and 0.6m high and the structure is protected to the N by a curving stone dyke 15m long. The interior of the structure is split level – the E half being higher. <1>
