A stone-rimmed pit, of uncertain use, of probable prehistoric date, recorded during walkover survey. Possibly associated with prehistoric hut circle settlement across this area.

Full Description

Another pit in an area of many large boulder clearance cairns on a steepish slope (Plate 25). There is a clearance cairn immediately to its rear, almost forming a 3m high cliff to the pit. The pit is only 2m Across and 1m deep, but the rough jumble of its stone lip is 2m wide and 0.6m high at the front. There is a jumble of boulders on the uneven bottom of the pit. <1>
