Full Description

A tree and nettle covered mound, 0.75m high approx, with a ditch at the E edge. Several clearance cairns surmount this. It corresponds to a similar Feature at some distance to the N side of the roadway. It may relate to a possible former water course, though similarities to the characteristics of MHG8552 St Mary’s Chapel are notable.

A watching brief was subsequently undertaken of this site, to ensure it was not affected by works. <1>
