Full Description
Possible hut circle recorded during walkover survey.
Well defined encircling embankment, generally 0.6m in height, but 0.8m in the NE where it is recessed into the slope. Internal diameter of area is 12m, external is generally 17.5m. Possible entrance in the south sector. <1>
It is possible this is one of the hut circles recorded just below Croftcrunie by the Inverness Scientific Society Field Club in 1888. <2>
It is not possible for this hut circle to be one of the three mentioned in <2> as Croftcrunie lies some 1.7 miles to the northeast - IS-L 06/02/2014.
