Full Description

A group of clearance cairns was recorded here during walkover survey. They appear to form part of the field system recorded by RCAHMS in 1995 (MHG28496). The cairns were heather- and moss-covered and at times difficult to distinguish in the open moorland and high heather although some clearly stood above the level of the surrounding
vegetation. <1>
