Full Description

A possible charcoal burning platform, recorded during walkover survey.
Situated on the north facing slopes above the south shore of Loch Leven this platform measures 14.0 m west - east and 9.0 mnorth - south and is excavated into the hill slope to a depth of 1.5 m, there is no visible revetment at the front of this feature. This platform shows signs of re-use in the form of a concrete slab measuring 3.0 m by 3.0 m. <1>
