Full Description
Situated at 8 metres aD and extending down to just above the limit of the High Water Spring tide mark, are the degraded remains of a nucleated settlement. The settlement, lying 20 metres north of a large ruined boundary wall and having a south-westerly aspect, comprises the remains of 5 houses, 2 byres, 2 stock pens and a compartmented kale yard.
Some elements of the settlement show signs of reuse. Degraded boundary walls link some of the structures.
Large areas of relict lazy-bed cultivation surround the settlement. <1>
