Full Description

Situated at the base of south-west facing slopes at 37 metres OD and 5 metres south of a small stream, are the ruinous remains of a stone-built farmstead. Comprising house, byre and kale yard, the complex is located in an area of improved ground containing lazy-bed cultivation plots and boundary dykes.

Around 16 metres to the north-west of the byre and just beyond the small stream, are the degraded remains of the kale yard. This structure is subrectangular in shape and measures 18.0 metres long (E-W axis) by 15.0 metres wide, over stone and turf-built walls of indeterminate thickness. <1>
