Full Description

A substantial stone and turf dyke was noted during a walkover survey in September 2010. The dyke runs approximately east-west just north of the proposed weir. It is not shown on the first edition 1:10560 OS map. It has not been recorded in the archaeological records and is undated. It is likely to be associated with the former township of Osdale. <1>
