Centred 765 478
Copper was mined and smelted in the 18th century at NM 765 478 where spoil heaps and a water-filled shaft are visible and slag is found. The mine appears to have been in use at the time of Roy's survey (1747-55) but abandoned by 1794.

NM 7627 4764. Circular mound 10m in diameter, possibly associated wih old mine workings.
