A well-preserved cottage (10.2m by 4.3m internally), its walls standing to their full height, is situated on the E side of Kilmory Glen 530m SE of the burial-ground (NG 30 SE 1).

An unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Islands of Rum, Sanday etc., 1879, sheet lx) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
