Full Description

During road improvements in the 1960s and 1970s, 45 gallon drums of explosives were found buried adjacent to the A9 at both Evanton Bridge (MHG49250) and the Drummond Railway Bridge. They were taken to the beach at Kiltearn Bay and blown up by bomb disposal teams.
