Full Description

A probable late 19th-century farmstead consisting of a timber and corrugated iron built house and timber byre. The buildings are not depicted on the 6 inch 1st edition Ordnance Survey map, appearing first on the 2nd edition map c.1905. <1>

Photographs of the building were submitted to the HER to satisfy a condition on planning consent for change of use to an agricultural store (11/00545/FUL). These show the interior to be timber lined throughout. The dilapidated kitchen range was still present when the photographs were taken (April 2011). <2>
