Full Description

NG20SE 11 2785 0433.

(NG 2785 0433) So called Viking burial. Examined 1953 - probably used for kelp burning.
Private 6"map, annotated by T C Lethbridge 1953.

At NG 2785 0433 are the remains of a rectangular structure measuring 5.5m E-W by 1.3m. It is in poor condition and has probably been mutilated by Lethbridge's excavation. (See also NG20NW 3).
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
Visited by OS (I S S) 30 May 1972.
