Full Description

This building (ROG95 852) was recorded during RCAHMS's 1995 survey of Little Rogart township. It measures 21.6m x 3.3m internally, with stone-faced rubble walls 0.7m thick standing to a height of 0.3m. The survey identified an outshot and two internal compartments, the party wall suggested by a step down within the building of about 3m. The dimensions of the building are typical of long byre-houses found elsewhere in Sutherland and is one of six such building identified in the township. <1><2>
