Full Description

This corn-drying kiln (ROG95 860) was recorded during RCAHMS's 1995 survey of Little Rogart township. It has an internal diameter of 1.7m with rubble walls spread to 1.3m thick standing to a height of 0.4m. A platform with a revetted terrace extends 1.8m to the west in front of the flue. The kiln is set into the slope on the east. The kiln is one of five corn-drying kilns identified within the former township. <1><2>
