Full Description

NG20NW 19 2340 0584.

A sub-circular structure levelled into an E-facing slope, not dissimilar to a hut circle, measuring 6.0m diameter within a ruinous wall 1.0m thick; Mutilated entrance in the E. Undoubtably modern as is a similar enclosure 60m NNW. Much of the W side of the Tarbert valley from this area S to about Fang na Fola shows the remains of walls, small enclosures, rectangular buildings grassy mounds - probably collapsed bothies, a lazy bed cultivation, most of not all comparatively recent. Visited by OS 3 June 1972
