Full Description

A farmstead that is first depicted on the 25 inch 1st edition Ordnance Survey map c.1872. The map shows four structures: a large rectangular roofed building around an internal courtyard, with a smaller roofed building and adjacent garden to the north, and two small rectangular outbuildings to the east. <1>

A survey undertaken in late 2011 found that much of the original stone-built quadrangle appears to have been demolished and replaced with modern sheds dating from the late 20th century. <2>
