Full Description

Icehouse built into the hillside, with a domed roof and a door in front. It is known locally as an icehouse, and was used by the dairy farm at Milton near Boat of Garten. Family members also remember hams being hung inside it several generations ago. It appears to be represented on the 1st ed OS map. This icehouse is unusual because it belongs to a farm, rather than a large estate house. <1>
