Full Description

Remains of a lime kiln on Skulamus common grazing, situated near the Alt an Loin Bhain. Circular in shape and measuring 2.6m in diameter with 1.1m chamber in the centre.This is one of a number of small lime kilns in the area, including two in Skulamus and two in Lower Breakish. There are abundant outcrops of limestone in the area. <1>
