Full Description

The 1st Edition Ordnance Survey mapping for this area shows a network of lades and built watercourses draining water off the slope behind Marybank House and Farmstead. The main line of the track leading to the buildings from the main road preserves this line and some remains of these channels appear to be preserved under turf at the edge of the track. Grid Ref: 274380 876170 to 275080 876350 (main section). <1>
