Situated on a terrace half-way up the cliff about 400m ESE of the shepherd's cottage at Samhnan Insir, there is a group of abutting pens or huts.
Visited by RCAHMS May 1983
A small unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Islands of Rum, Sanday etc., 1879, sheet lxi), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
