Full Description
A degraded hut circle was noted during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Amer, Glen Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. It is located 20m to the south-east of a burn on a terrace and consists of a grass-covered stone boulder roundhouse measuring 14.5m north-west- south-east by 12.5m north-south over walls spread to 2m wide and up to 0.5m high. It has a possible south-facing entrance 1m in width. It has been heavily disturbed by later rig and furrow cultivation. <1>
