Summary

The remains of possible prehistoric boundary walls or dykes were noted during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Amer, Glen Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme.

Full Description

The remains of possible prehistoric boundary walls or dykes were noted during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Amer, Glen Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. The alignment consisted of one course of boulders measuring 0.5m wide and standing 0.2-0.5m high. At the north end it was built into a boulder outcrop and was mostly consumed by peat. <1>
