Full Description
A shieling hut attached to a boundary dyke was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Allt Mor, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. It consisted of a grass and moss-covered turf and stone sub-rectangular construction built into the south-west side of a turf dyke. It measured 4m long NE-SW by 2.5m wide over indistinguishable walls 0.5m high. There was no visible entrance. <1>
