Full Description

Post-medieval boundary walls were recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at An T-Sron, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. The stretches of bracken and heather covered turf/stone walls spread 1.5m wide and stood up to 1m high. It formed the boundary between cultivated land and moorland. <1> There is some indication on APs that the stretches of wall may originally have been continuous.
