Full Description
A post-medieval house was recorded during a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeological Services in 2012 at Glen Bracadale, Bracadale, Skye, prior to a proposed woodland creation scheme. Part of the Glen Bracadale township.
The grass- and moss-covered turf / stone building measured 12m N-S by 5.5m over walls spread to 2-2.5m and up 0.4m high. There was a possible entrance in the south end of the building and a stone clearance cairn (see MHG55717) inside the building. <1>
