Summary

A single degraded shieling structure was seen south of Allt na Lucha during a walkover survey in 1994-5 prior to a proposed woodland planting scheme.

Full Description

A single degraded shieling structure was seen south of Allt na Lucha during a walkover survey in 1994-5 prior to a proposed woodland planting scheme. It measured 5m x 3m over walls reduced to low mossy mounds. It lay in a small grassy area with some bracken on the east bank of the burn. It was one of only two sites actually within the proposed planting area. <1>
