Full Description

A small possible sub-circular structure was seen during a walkover survey by Highland Archaeology in 2007 in advance of a proposed wind farm to the southeast of Bettyhil, Sutherland. The feature was seen at Achcoillenborgie on the hillside to the west of the proposed locations of turbines 3 and 7. It measured 2.5m x 3m and appeared as an earthen mound with a dip in the centre. There were no other features nearby and it may have been natural. <1>
