On the N side of Glen Shellesder, 300m inland, there are the remains of two rectangular buildings set about 50m apart and measuring respectively 7.5m by 2.9m and 4.5m by 2.2m internally. About 100m to the ESE there are a further two buildings, set 20m apart and measuring 5m by 2.4m and 2.6m by 2.2m internally.

Two unroofed buildings, lying about 400m inland, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Islands of Rum, Sanday etc., 1879, sheet lx). Two unroofed buildings, about 120m apart, are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
