A probable post-medieval still site at Meashader, Glen Colbost, Skye, was recorded during a walkover survey in 2012 prior to a proposed windfarm development.

Full Description

A probable post-medieval still site at Meashader, Glen Colbost, Skye, was recorded during a walkover survey in 2012 by RoCAS prior to a proposed windfarm development. It was under grass and was constructed of stone/turf. It measured 2.5m N-SE by 1.5m and stood up to 0.7m high. It was assessed as being in a very degraded condition.<1>

They may be related to the nearby Geln Colbost farmstead (see MHG55832).
