Full Description

A degraded shieling hut was noted in a walkover survey by West Coast Archaeology Services in 2011, prior to a proposed woodland planting scheme. The stone-built subcircular cellular structure measured 2m diameter over walls 0.4m wide surviving up to 0.5m high was located below a birch tree with a possible entrance 0.6m wide in its east side. <1>
