Full Description

A C19 shooting lodge on an island in Loch Ma Stac on the Corrimony Estate, Urquhart and Glenmoriston. It is shown on the OS 1st Edition 6" map. <1>

A brief history of the Corrimony Estate mentions the hunting lodge but it was not visited by the author. <2>

The island is linked to the 'mainland' by a causeway to the south of the building and the footings of a second, probbaly related, building are visible on the 'mainland' to the east of the lodge.
