Full Description

This site was noted during a walkover survey carried out by RoCAS in 2013 in advance of a woodland creation scheme. Built into a heather-covered northwest facing slope was a possible turf shooting butt measuring 2m northeast to southwest by 1.5m with banks spread to 1.5m wide and up to 0.6m high. It may have been a natural feature. <1>
