Full Description

A possible peat quarry was noted during a DBA and walkover survey by RoCAS in 2012 on behalf of the Forestry Commission Scotland. An extensive area appears to have been quarried. Although mostly cleared of peat, stacks of peat remain in the area, which may have been used by the Forestry Commission during plantation works. <1>
