Full Description

A cairn was noted during a DBA and walkover survey by RoCAS in 2012 on behalf of Forestry Commission Scotland. Located on a rushes- and grass-covered rise was a large and low spread of stone mostly covered by vegetation. It stood up to 1m high at the east-northeast side and measured 15m noth to south by 8m. It was possibly the remains of a prehistoric cairn or field clearance. <1>
