Full Description

A shieling was noted during a DBA and walkover survey by RoCAS in 2012 on behalf of Forestry Commission Scotland. Located on the east side of the burn was a low, grass-covered tussocky mound measuring 6m northwest to southeast by 5m and standing up to 0.5m high. There was no visible entrance and no banks were visible. It may have been a double-cell shieling site. <1>
