Full Description

A shieling was noted during a DBA and walkover survey by RoCAS in 2012 on behalf of Forestry Commission Scotland. Part of a low mound was visible within the dense forestry plantation, which may have been the remains of a shieling that has been ploughed through. It measured 8m northwest to southeast by 5m and up to 0.7m high. Some scattered stone was visible in the area. <1>
