Full Description
This mound was noted by RoCAS during a 2012 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. It was described as a very degraded grass-covered mound, prominent within an area of dense rushes, that measured 9m east to west by 6m and stood up to 0.5m high. It underlied Site 2, a later boundary dyke, and was situated on the north side of a burn. <1>
