Full Description
A stone building was noted by ARCH's Evanton Wartime Remains project in 2013. It was known as Newton garage and built before the war. A local resident was told that it was originally a coach house to store a pony and trap, and had also been used in the past as a smiddy. The building had a chimney in 2013, though people were unsure if it was used as a cottage before becoming a garage or whether it was a coachhouse with fireplace. Although in the area of the military airfield, it was probably not used by the military. Contributors: Eddie Szymborski, Roddie Lovett, Alan Kinghorn <1>
