Full Description
Three air raid shelters were noted by ARCH's Evanton Wartime Remains project in 2013. They are indicated on 1946 RAF map near to Newton House, two at NH 61926 66849 and NH 61890 66885 and a further one south at NH 61901 66865. The two closest to the house were in good condition in 2013, with preserved metal hatches and doors, although the hatches were becoming quite rusted. The third no longer survived.
