Full Description
A shieling hut was noted by WCAS in a 2012 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. Set into boulder scree on a steep, northeast-facing slope is a stone-built structure under bracken and grass. It measured 3m northwest to southeast by 2.8m over walls 0.8m wide and 0.7m high. There was a 0.7m wide entrance in the southeast wall. <1>
