Full Description

During WWII there were lumberjills working in the area who came from Stornoway. The Women’s Timber Corp were listed at Fannyfield (at the end of Swordale near Evanton) in the 1942/1943 valuation rolls. Contributors: Phil Glover, Alan Kinghorn. <1>
