Full Description
An enclosure was noted by WCAS during a 2012 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. They may relate to a postmedieval farmstead in the area (MHG 22365). Located under dense bracken at the south end of the survey area was a stone-built enclosure wall, measuring 48m northeast to southwest, on a southeast-facing slope. The wall, revetted to the south and southeast, was spread 1-1.2m wide and stood 0.5-0.9m high. <1>
