Full Description

A structure was noted by WCAS during a 2012 DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. They may relate to a postmedieval farmstead in the area (MHG 22365). Located under dense bracken was the possible footings of a stone-built, subrectangular structure standing 0.3-0.4m high. The walls of the structure, measuring 3.5m E-W by 1.5m internally, were felt underfoot though not visible. <1>
