Full Description

A post-medieval dyke (site 6) was surveyed by West Coast Archaeological Services in March 2013 during a walkover survey in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. This feature was found in survey area 1. The dyke was made of turf and stone, the bank was 1.5m at its maximum width and up to 0.6m in height. The dyke was in a very degraded condition at the time of surveying. <1>
