Full Description

A post-medieval enclosure (site 14) was surveyed by West Coast Archaeological Services in March 2013 during a walkover survey in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. These features were found between survey area 2 and 3. The enclosure was made of turf and stone, and was located on the edge of a small field. The banks were up to 2.5m in width and were up to 1.2m on the downslope side. The enclosure was in a very degraded condition at the time of surveying. <1>
